Transformation Summit June 27th Montpellier

Le jeudi 27 juin, se tiendra une journée d’échanges sur la transformation réunissant académiques et praticiens impliqués dans la recherche et la mise en œuvre de la Transformation aux niveaux individuel, organisationnel ou sociétal/global. Elle se déroulera à l’Université Paul Valérie Montpellier 3, la veille de la conférence Spiritualité, Développement et Transformation du GRT Management et Spiritualité de l’AGRH. Cet échange fait suite à une première journée de travail organisée par Judi Neal (co-fondatrice du groupe MSR de l’Academy of Management) et SpringerNature qui a réuni des contributeurs du Handbook of Personal and Organizational Transformation (Neal, 2018) à New York en octobre 2018. L’objectif de cette journée expérientielle est donc de regrouper des co-auteurs et professionnels pour ébaucher un robuste cadre théorique de la Transformation. La journée est gratuite. Un atelier animé pendant la conférence des 28 et 29 juin se proposera d’en restituer les résultats, pour étendre et approfondir l’exploration de ce sujet. Transformation Summit – June 27, 2019 – Montpellier, France
The Handbook of Personal and Organizational Transformation, edited by Judi Neal and published by SpringerNature, was published in two volumes in July 2018. In August 2018, SpringerNature hosted a gathering of Handbook authors at the Academy of Management in Chicago, and in October a one-day Transformation Summit at their offices in Manhattan, New York. It was clear that a « Transformation Community » was emerging organically. The purpose of these gatherings is to foster dialogue, new thinking, connections, and potential writing projects between leading-edge thinkers and practitioners doing transformation work at the individual, team, systems and global levels. Each of these experiences has been rich and inspiring.

Our planning team has organized a free one-day Transformation Summit that will be a pre-conference session before the Spirituality, Development and Transformation Conference, hald June 28th and 29th in Montpellier, France. The purpose of this gathering is to continue the work we did at the New York Transformation Summit, with greater input from our European colleagues. I invite you to join us on June 27, 2019 to come and share your latest thinking and your big questions about the field of transformation.  We will primarily be using an Open Space Technology approach to the design of the Transformation Summit, which allows for greater participation and deeper sharing and exploration of important ideas and approaches.

You are also invited to attend the Spirituality, Development and Transformation Conference which is being held June 28-29 at the same location.
